Two weeks before the trip it was finalized that our oldest son Andrew would also be coming. He is now twenty-one, and at a point in life where hiking two weeks with his parents would be a *good* thing for him.
MJ thought I should title the blog "Trail Mix" because we will probably have a mixture of family and friends going with us over the years.
